The Department

Our fast growing Immigration team is experienced in advising individuals with complex and sophisticated issues. The team has the advantage of working alongside experienced in-house advisors in the fields of Tax; Wealth Planning; Corporate and Commercial, Real Estate, Family and Employment law to offer a holistic approach.

The Role

An exceptional opportunity now exists to join this firm's leading Immigration team. Our Immigration team has decades of experience advising multinational private and public companies and start-ups in all business sectors as well as for individual clients. This role will assist our clients with:

• Tier 1 applications for HNW individuals, businessmen and exceptionally talented individuals
• Full support for corporate clients including training and preparation for sponsor license application, compliance, certificates of sponsorship, visa applications, switching of employee's status and business visitors
• Personal applications e.g. spousal unmarried partners, same sex, surrogacy
• Strategic support to family offices
• Eligibility under EUSS
• Citizenship and passport applications

As with representing clients on personal immigration matters, our team is able to coordinate the delivery of the highest level of multi-disciplined professional services in conjunction with Withers’ partners in any of our international offices.

Key Skills and Experience

• Must be admitted to practice in England & Wales
• 3-5 years PQE
• Must be driven and able to juggle competing priorities
• Demonstrable experience in corporate and high net worth immigration matters from a practice ranked by the legal directories
• Must have experience in sponsor licence assessment, audit and knowledge of PBS, EEA regulations
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and contentious follow through
